ORANGE HORIZONS

BACKGROUND

In 2012, we were approached by Orange Horizons, a strategic business unit within the global Orange (formerly France Telecom) Telecoms Group, who were looking to develop their presence in markets where there was an awareness of the Orange brand, but no direct network activity.

The strategy of Orange Horizons can be found here but in summary it is to ‘seek out new business opportunities outside of its operator footprint.

SCOPE

We have agreed a Partnership that will see Brandpath (formerly Expansys) build up to 50 international webstores for Orange, using the Orange brand directly. As part of this Partnership, Brandpath will;

  • Develop, build and operate the websites within the Orange brand guidelines
  • Provide a range of core range of Consumer Electronics products, specialising in SIM-free smartphones, tablets and accessories
  • Provide global Merchant of Record services including transactional services, order processing and fraud management
  • Provide a comprehensive outbound/inbound warehousing, logistics and fulfilment service using the extensive global network developed by Expansys over the last 15 years
  • Provide a comprehensive customer support service, encompassing telephone, email and social media inbound support

With Orange providing strong brand credentials and significant web traffic, and Brandpath providing global ecommerce, product range, fulfilment and customer services, we are confident the partnership will grow from strength to stregth
