A1 Comms are one of the largest privately owned mobile technology online retailers in the UK through their brands www.affordablemobiles.co.uk and www.buymobiles.net. In 2014, they began a review of their supply chain and fulfilment operations, which at the time were based warehousing at their headquarters in Derbyshire, United Kingdom.

They faced similar challenges to many other fast growing businesses in the sector such asever increasing inventory values necessitating premises with higher security levels, constrained market stock availability requiring a reduced dock to stock cycle and the ability to flex labour resource to manage the peaks demand of new product launches and seasonal trends, among others.

After a competitive bid process, Brandpath were appointed to provide all their supply chain needs through our high security Slough facility in the UK, where we:

• Receipt their inventory and make it available for sale within 4 hours
• Flex the resource to a ensure a >99.8% despatch same day for orders received by 21:00 for next day delivery, including period with 5x increases on volumes
• Process any returns, including running diagnostics, data wiping, warranty repairs and organising the resale of refurbished devices
• Personalised on-brand delivery documentation linked to the website of purchase

In 2020, A1 Comms demonstrated the value that they place on our partnership by formally extending the relationship a further 3 years to 2023, rewarding the operational excellence that we consistently deliver on their behalf.
